イギリス生まれ。London Collage of Furnitureにて楽器製作技術の学士号を取得。1991年にオーストラリアにてジャックスピラギターズ設立。アコースティックギターを中心に年間20本ほどの楽器を製作しており、国内外で高い評価を受けている。スティングも彼の楽器の愛用者の1人である。ラストギターは日本に紹介された初年度2013年から取り扱いをしている。

Jack obtained his Bachelor’s degree in instrument manufacturing from the London College of Furniture. In 1991, he launched Jack Spira Guitars in Australia. Jack produces about 20 guitars a year, mainly acoustic guitars, and his craftsmanship has been regarded highly both domestically and internationally. Sting is also a fan of his guitars. Last Guitar has been retailing Jack Spira Guitars since 2013 when his guitars were first introduced to Japan.
